FullonSMS Desktop Client and Mobile Java Application


FullonSMS LogoFinally a desktop application is now available for FullonSMS, created by my friend Ayush Pateria. Now you can easily send free SMS from your desktop using the FullonSMS desktop client. The FullonSMS application features a very simple yet powerful interface with which you can easily send free SMS without the hassle of annoying ads and banners.
 
FullonSMS has recently started offering free SMS to India without advertisements. With FullonSMS you can send free SMS to any mobile number in India without advertisements and with 160 character support per SMS. You can now send Free SMS from your desktop or mobile phone without opening the website, just open the application, enter your login credentials and start sending free SMS to your loved ones.

Things you'll need :

  1. FullonSMS account [Click here to register for an account if you don't have one]
  2. .NET Framework (for desktop application) [Click here to Download]
  3. FullonSMS desktop application developed by Ayush Pateria. [Click here to Download v2.8]
    OR
    FullonSMS Mobile Java Application (FullOnSMS.jar). [Click here to Download]

Update:

Option to import contacts from your Fullonsms account and a log to view sent messages added.
 
The application is simple and light weight and can send multiple SMS to the selected contacts or entered mobile numbers at a time. You can add and manage contacts directly from the application. I've tested the application for a day and it works fine without any problems.
 
Note: To run the application, you must have .NET framework installed on your system. The application won't run if you don't have .NET framework installed on your system. Click here to download the .NET framework if you don't have it already installed.

After you have installed the .NET Framework, Click here to download the FullonSMS desktop client and install it on your system. Note: To open the zip archive you need to have WinZip, WinRAR or 7ZIP installed on your system.
 

Mobile Java Application:

 
The mobile Java application has been developed and generously shared by dinesh1, a sourceforge user. The Java application has been designed to run on almost any Java/J2ME enabled phone.
Below are two screenshots of the FullonSMS Java application taken from my phone.

Click here to download the FullonSMS Java application and install it to your phone. The application is very easy to use and configure, just enter your FullonSMS login credentials at startup. You may tick the "Remember Me" box so that you don't need to enter it again and again when you restart the app. You can add contacts directly from your phone-book.

    can't send sms to multiple numbers at a time.
    if u can mail the developer please request few suggestions

    1)search box-to search contacts/Mobile No
    2)Group, group contacts and add them by group name.
    3)logout button, so that v can switch between 2-3 user ids easily and faster.
    4)hyper link button which takes us directly to sent sms page of the site, so that v can reconfirm if the smses is sent.
    5)and msg limit for whozzat is 150 still software showes limit as 100.

    @Anonymous: Which operating system are you using ?
    Check for updates to .NET framework in Windows Update.
    You may also try uninstalling the software and installing it again.

    I m having my own software through which i send sms, for this the software uses three values. 1. website 2. user id. 3. password. if i want to send msg using fullonsms what value should i put in website so that i can send free sms through fullonsms. Right nw i send sms through gupshup for which the value is smsgupshup. pls help me with the solution.

      Yes maybe, check if the the person you're sending the SMS to is registered with DND or no.

    I want to know how you are able to simply connect to gateway site through the fosc.php page. Are you using web services? If yes then could you enlighten me as to how you have done it?
    I am very curious to know and I have no other intentions except to gain knowledge about it. Your work is simply splendid.

      Hi Mohit,

      The app uses HTTP Post and HTTP Get requests to communicate with the gateway. To learn this, first learn about requests and a good programming language which will allow you to perform them. Then through FireBug debug the gateway and trace all the login and send sms requests, then code all the requests in app the same as the browser would do and you can connect to the gateway :)

    Cant send sms 4 last 7/8 days(mobile version). Msg given is "login failed". Changing the server will not help anyway.
