Login Into Facebook Securely With Text Messages Verification

Facebook has recently launched a new feature which provides additional security when you to login into Facebook called "Login Approvals" which adds an extra layer of security to your Facebook account. With this new feature, everytime you try login into your Facebook account, you will need to enter a verification code which is sent to your verified mobile number by Facebook. A few months ago Google had also launched 2-step verification process for Google accounts, which is also similar to "Login Approvals" wherein you have enter a verification code sent to your mobile phone by Google.

Facebook has also implemented this feature to prevent unauthorized access to your Facebook account. now, even if anyone has your Facebook account password, they cannot login to your account.

How to setup Login Approvals for Facebook Account:

1. Log-in to your Facebook account.

2. Click on Accounts > Account Settings > Account Security.

3. Now check "Send me a text message" and "Require me to enter a security code sent to my phone" under Login Notifications.

4. Now a pop-up will appear asking you to turn on Login Approvals, Click on the Next button.

5. Enter you mobile number and proceed to the next step.

6. You'll now receive a verification code on your mobile, enter the code and click Next.

7. Done ! Now you have successfully activated Facebook login approvals for your account.

*Remember to carry your mobile phone along with you, because you'll need to verify your account everytime you try login from a different device.
