BOLT is a feature rich mobile browser which supports a wide variety of phones. Bolt gives you an uncompromised desktop like Internet browsing experience. BOLT runs on all JAVA supported phones (also called J2ME) and also on low end phones. You can have a desktop like experience while using BOLT. BOLT as the name suggests is built to render web pages with speed and accuracy. However BOLT may mess up images on some websites. Speed-wise, BOLT
is a lot faster than other web-kit based browsers.
The user interface is quite simple, and at the bottom of the screen, BOLT has a pair of soft-keys for 'Menu' and 'Back'. These soft-keys can sometimes irritate you when you surf pages as the menu pops-up, if you hit the bottom of the screen (usually on a touch screen phone).
I have noticed that sometimes BOLT automatically reloads a web page, and when you type a query on Google and hit search BOLT will sometimes just reload the Google homepage instead of showing you the search results, this applies to all pages where you need to type in a query or fill a form. BOLT lacks kinetic scrolling and sometimes can be jerky to scroll down. On a touch screen phone the accuracy isn't much good, therefore you need to use a stylus while browsing.

User Interface and Issues:
Features:
- BOLT does not eat up much of your phones precious RAM, and you can open multiple pages with the tab feature, without other pages being cleared up.
- BOLT has a overview function called the Split-Screen mode, when you turn on this feature the upper half of the page will act as the overview and the lower half of the page will show up in a magnified version of the page.
- BOLT features 'web apps', it includes specialized versions of the existing mobile websites E.g. Youtube, Wikipedia and Twitter.
- BOLT can also post status messages on Facebook and Twitter.
- BOLT can play embedded videos on sites like Youtube, which is a good feature that other browsers lack.

Overall BOLT is a good browser if you are on a low-end phone, but it lacks stability and so I recommend Opera Mini for better browsing, performance and security.
