Opera recently launched the Opera Mobile 11 and Opera Mini 6. The difference between Opera Mobile and Opera Mini is the engine they use. For Opera Mobile 11, the browser engine is located on the mobile device, for Opera Mini 6, it is located on the Opera server.Opera Mini displays websites a lot faster than the Opera Mobile but doesnt have Full Flash support like the Opera Mobile. All data is compressed before it is sent to the phone.
Opera Mini is a Java app designed to work on almost any device which is Java enabled.
Opera Mobile 11 is only released for Symbian and Android devices.
(*Opera Mobile 11 is also available as labs releases for Maemo, MeeGo and Windows (as in Windows 7 tablets). See labs.opera.com for more information)
